Black Dog's current warranty language covers professionally installed window films and includes care guidance for keeping new tint in good condition.
Limited Warranty
Carbon and Ceramic IR films
The current Black Dog warranty page lists lifetime limited ownership coverage for professionally installed Black Dog Carbon Films and Black Dog IR Ceramic Films. It covers eligible issues such as color stability, peeling, cracking, adhesive failure, and delamination while the original customer owns the vehicle.
Final warranty wording should be confirmed by Black Dog before domain cutover and should match the current supplier warranty terms.
Care Instructions
- Leave windows rolled up for 3-5 days after installation.
- Keep the warranty card with the original receipt.
- Do not use ammonia-based products.
- Clean with a damp, soft cloth and mild soap.
- Rub gently and dry with a second soft cloth or squeegee.
- Do not use abrasive cloths or abrasive cleaners.
